forum keeps crashing.. ATTN: mods/admin

Hi

I just thought i should bring to your attention that since the new tool bar at the bottom of the page, the site has been freezing up on me many times... on the bottom of my browser it says stopped.. to get it working again i have to close the page or tab and restart again.. refresh or reload doesn't.. i'm currently using firefox...

what's the version of ur FF browser???can u list ur add-ons...i think u r using an autoload add-on or something like that, so plz add some more details

well maybe u can use opera instead it works really well but if u're using chat it will eat up many ram but still ok

i'm using firefox/3.5.7 and i'm not using many add ons... avd safe search, MS framework ***istant 1.1, real player browser record plug in 1.0, PC sync Synchronisation Extension 10.0.0.723 and user agent switcher 0.7.2.

I am also using windows 7 bata build 7100 which i will most probably replace over the weekend as with a more up to date version... i'll give your a report back once have tested it out with a newer version of win 7..

I think it must be a bug with windows 7 as i have installed a new version and the same things happens.. when it does freeze up, i have to close the page and reopen it again.. now using firefox 3.6 but the same also happens with IE...

i am using the last version of windows 7 X64 and i dont have this problem with or without ads, do u mean ur firefox takes most of ur cpu, coz as everyone knows firefox is a cpu hog and one of the reason that will make this happen is just the flash contents and multimedia we have just used on PF, so if u r using a laptop ,particularly ultraportables this is just a normal case ...reply on this thread and i will post the solutions

I'm running a athlon 64 x2 dual core 5600+(32 bit), win 7, 2gb.. it doesn't do it as much, but it still does it from time to time.. the status at the botton left of teh browers says "STOPPED" when it happens??
