UIQ 3 is not DEAD (i think)

I finding and finding 'how made new OS for uiq phone but nothing. Before 3 day i see to Motorola have new UIQ 3.3 software
Than i sad ''persian forum team can do it'' i mean edit UIQ 3.3 to work on all Sony smartphone.
First we need to make TEAM for 'porting' UIQ 3.3. I think it is not to hard because we need to make only driver to work with SONY P1, p990,m600 and other. Driver for some things we have now exported from UIQ 3 software, than we can easy put it in UIQ 3.3 and need only small edit to make it work on phone.But we need to export software. That is not hard if big programers and other master want to be part of this project.
I am good with programing and hex edit i can help maximum and UIQ 3.3 its more and more faster than UIQ 3 and not have limit in JAVA GAMES.

Lets go.

Good idea but there are a few limitations:
1- in case we managed to Reverse Engineer UIQ3.3, how are we going to put it in phone ROM?
2- Reverse Engineering UIQ3.3 will need ARM assembly language knowledge, Editing HEX is not enough, If you pass ARM assembly then you can even write ur own OS, but this is most of the job.
If we can do this all then we should open a Company ourselves!

, i really appreciate ur intrest and activity but this thread is like a joke....Operating systems are not some kinda tiny games or apps that has been ported from s60v3 to UIQ3

Nice Idea,but as other guys said,It's a little hard.The full source code of OS is not available,so now it is too hard to do that. I think we are moving to WinMobs that has more stuff and waiting for us...

MAYBE UIQ Company can give source of UIQ 3.3 because it is not ''NATIONAL SECRET'' now.
MAYBE we can made new software or something like that, maybe emulator for UIQ 3.3 and made software for mobile to run only that emulator.
That is complicated, but if UIQ Company want to give SOURCE we can do it easy ?

Its worth a try, but as others have said, really you need the ability to compile for ARM, and if that can be done, then anything is possible, Android replacement for UIQ3? Its nice to dream of what could be done, but as with all things money talks

I think it would do better if you started saving for a new phone, exmaple with S60 v5 or Windows Mobile
It's easier and faster and less labor and nerves

I love editing, hacking and graphic design. What is better for me X1 or Idou (but i dont have money for idou)
Idou have Symbian OS, X1 have Win 6 mobile (and Win 7 mobile soon)
