Create your own fonts and use them on your s60v3 device.

Testes successfully on N95, N73, N80.

Just follow the instructions mentioned below.

Ok. First you find whichever .ttf font that you want to use. In my case I just went to the font folder on c:/windows/font on my desktop. Pay close attention... what you NEED to do is create a folder on your desktop. Name that folder Fonts. Since you cannot just copy and paste a font from that windows folder, its safer to have both the fonts folder from your windows drive open AND the fonts folder that you just created on your desktop (which should be empty at this point). With both windows side by side, select the font that you would like to use and MOVE it to the other font folder by holding down the control button and dragging and dropping to your new font folder.

This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 700x366.

From the font folder that you created you can now right click and select copy and move it back to the windows font folder. Once thats done you can close out the windows font folder.

Now at this point you should have your created font folder open with the font that you moved inside. From that one font type you need to create 3 copies. Don't worry about the titles, we will change that later. Right click the font and select copy. From the edit tab on the toolbar select paste. So basically you are copying and pasting within the same folder.

Now its time to rename the files of your font. Open Y-Browser from your device. Select z:/resource/fonts. Here is where you will find the names of the fonts that are preinstalled on your device. Keep in mind that different devices have different font names. So far I've tried this on the N73 and N95 and each device has different font names.

This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 700x366.

Once you have the correct file names from your device you can now go back into your created folder on your desktop and rename the files. The titles shown above were the font types that are installed on my N95. Now that doesn't mean that this will work on all N95's because the font types might differ by region, especial the APAC region.

Once you have renamed the files you can close the window. Now its time to transfer them to your device.

This next method can be done 2 ways. I suggest using a card reader because after the fonts are installed to the memory card you can no longer use the phone in Mass Storage or Data transfer mode.

The second method is to connect your phone via USB and select Mass Storage or Data Transfer. Once connected and the file manager opens, go to your Resource Folder. This will be your E:/ drive. Open the Resource folder and copy your Fonts folder stored on your desktop to this location. Once the transfer is complete close all windows and go to the USB folder on your phone and select PC Suite mode. The reason that I do this is because it is safer to power off the device once out of Mass Storage or Data Transfer.

Power off your device and power back on... Thats it. !!!

The following is a screenshot of the changed fonts on a N95.

I've attached the fonts that I created for my N95. The name is Neuropol. Try it out on your N95.
Please try it out and kindly give a feedback whether it worked on your phone model.

How to install Font in E61

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR FONT:
1. Symbian 9.1 supports and uses TTF and Openfasce TTF fonts!
2. Make a folder on your memory card as follows: [mem-card]Normally known as E:Resource/Fonts
3. Pick TTF font and rename apropriate files as described below
NOSNR60.ttf = Nokia Sans S60 Regular
NSSB60.ttf = Nokia Sans S60 SemiBold
NSTSB60.ttf = Nokia Sans S60 TitleSmBd S60
S60ZDIGI.ttf = Series 60 ZDigi / this one is just LCD digits 0-9 plus .:,;*?
4. Copy these to newly created folder (fonts folder)
5. Reboot phone
6. Enjoy!!!!!!!

REMOVAL:
1. Use card reader [ONLY] to acces your memory card/sd card
2. Remove/delete files in E:Resource/fonts
3. Put your card back to phone
4. Reboot phone

Note:
* You can use any TTF in this purpose, but some TTF fonts are not supported special character such as %*][, etc
* Recomended is usage of hi-quality fonts which support full range of code pages
* Original fonts are stored in Z: drive
* For N93 user, rename as:
- NOSNRS60.ttf
- NOSSBS60.ttf
- NOTSBS60.ttf
- last one is the same as above

Tested on N73 & N80, 100% working

To do so,

Bluetooth Configuration -> Local Services -> Bluetooth Serial Port. Click on properties, may sure that "Secure Connections" is checked.

7) Next is to test your connections, under GnuBox, Debug->Test comm channel.

During this time, WIDCOMM on your PC will prompt you about serial port connections. Make sure that you allow the connections.

After the test, close GnuBox. Use FileManager, go to c:\nokia\ctest.txt and view this text file
Make sure that you got the following
123456Error = 0
78 Error = -3

This confirms that your phone setup is correct. If you got other error message, you may need to repeat the phone setup process again. Perhaps you may have miss out some steps. Ensure that your Bluetooth connection on your phone is always on during the phone setup

8) Once this is ok. Open Opera or NetFront and try to open up a web page. Now a dialog is presented to you where you'll have to choose a AP. Take “Bt“ (or “GnuBox“). Now you should notice the Bluetooth icon in the system tray turn green (Widcomm only). Some seconds later an icon signaling a new network connection should also show up in the system tray.

Interpreting Signing Error Messages in S60 3rd Edition

Message: Certificate error. Contact the application supplier.

Hint: You may have tried installing unsigned application. Note that signing is mandatory S60 3rd Edition. You can use self-signed certificate or developer certificate from Symbian Signed to sign your application.

Message: Unable to install. Constrained by the certificate.

Hint: This message pops up when you attempt to install developer certificate in the unsupported device. The developer certificate from Symbian Signed can only be used in a limited number of devices. Remember that you have to send your IMEIs to Symbian Signed when requesting certificate. You cannot use the certificate in other devices that is not in your IMEIs list.

Message: Required application access not granted.

Hint: Check that your certificate can be used to sign all capabilities needed by your application. For example, if you use self-signed certificate, you can only sign basic set capabilities, i.e. NetworkServices, ReadUserData, WriteUserData, LocalServices and UserEnvironment. If your application requires one of the extended capabilities, for example SwEvent, you cannot sign it with self-signed certificate. In this case, apply for developer certificates from Symbian Signed.

Message: Unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier.

Hint: If you use self-signed certificate, make sure that your application uses unprotected UID, i.e. 0xA0000000 - 0xAFFFFFFF. If you use protected UID (0x20000000 - 0x2FFFFFFF) or legacy UID (0x10000000 - 0x1FFFFFFF), you will get this message.
Message: Unable to install.

Hint: This message may come up when your installation file (.sis/.sisx) copies files to other application's private folder, i.e. \private\uid. Note that Symbian 9 introduces data caging concept, it means you don't have access to other application's private folder.

In case of expired certificate...
Do this...
Set the phone date back by 7-8months...
Than install the app...
After doing that reset the date back to routine...

If still the problem is present...
In that case your cert has expired...
Get a new cert from symbian signed...
As the cert got from symbiansigned are valid only for 6months...

Creating sub-directories (folder in folder) on S60 9.1 3rd devices

Preparing the menu for the trick

Before doing the trick, you need to have a couple of things done on your phone's menu:

1 - Create the new folder "Most Used" in my main menu

2 - Move the "Most Used" folder so it is the first icon in my menu (and this is very important)

3 - Place any application, like Camera, so it is the 5th application on the menu list (the default icon highlighted when you press menu)

Refreshing the menu

In order to do this trick, the menu needs to be refreshed, and that's how you achieve this:

1 - Place any .sis / .sisx / .jar application on your phone

2 - Install this application (I will install eBook mobile trial)

3 - Before the installation is over, ie check the screenshot, press the menu button, the default highlight will be "Camera" (as I have move it to be my 5th application)

Performing the trick

1 - Directly after pressing menu button, press options (left selection key)

2 - WAIT for a couple of seconds and don't press anything more (even though it may seem like the phone has frozen)

3 - The menu will refresh: instead of having "Camera" highlighted, the highlight will be on the first icon, ie the folder "Most Used" but the options list will still be open (check the screenshot)

4 - Choose "Move to Folder" from the Options list

5 - Then choose "My Own" as a target.

6 - That's it The "Most Used" folder is now in the "My Own" folder as a sub-directory

Explaining the trick

1 - The whole point of the trick is to have the menu refreshed while the options list is open with "move to folder" as one of the possible choices. This happens when u press options while having an app (and not a folder) highlighted. That's why I chose Camera.

2 - I decided to place Camera as the 5th app (the default one selected, so no buttons needed to be pressed) because when u press Menu just before the installation is over, the phone is in such a delicate confused state that the least buttons are pressed, the better it is.

3 - When the menu refreshes, the highlight moves to the first icon on the menu, which means that whatever this icon is, if the options list is still opened, you can pick any choice from it and let it apply to the first icon, instead of the 5th icon

More to the trick

1 - You can create sub-directories and sub-sub-directories and sub-sub-sub-directories... the possibilities are endless

2 - You can move any app / game to this newly created folder, just by selecting it and pressing options > move to folder, ie like you normally do with any other folder (check screenshot)

3 - The menu also refreshes after uninstalling an app, so you can also perform this trick just before the uninstallation process is over

Some Useful Secret Codes on Nokia’s S60 Phones

There are some useful secret codes for Nokia S60’s phones to get system information, such as IMEI and software version. To enter theses codes, the phone must be in the idle screen (not in the menu screen). What is idle screen? This is the screen where you see the operator name, date, time, battery level, signal strength and some other stuff. You can switch between idle screen and menu screen using Menu key ().
  • *#0000# - Display the software version, the date when the software was built and the phone model. In some cases, the phone model is not the one used by marketing. It is the internal model used inside Nokia. For example, RM-36 is the internal name of Nokia 6680.
  • *#06# - Display IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identify) of your phone.
  • *#2820# (*#BTA0#) - Display the Bluetooth device address of your phone.
  • *#62209526# (*#MAC0WLAN) - Display the MAC address of the WLAN adapter. This is available only in the newer devices that support WLAN
  • *#7370# (*#RES0#)- Reset your phone to the default factory settings. Usually you will need this code when you want to reset your phone back to the same condition when you got it for the first time. When the phone ask for security code, the default one is 12345.
  • Warning: Before you do reset the phone, make sure that you don’t have important data. Your data on the phone memory will be lost once you reset it.
  • *#92702689# (*#war0anty#) - Display the life timer information of your S60 phone, i.e. the total time of phone call (in minutes). Some users have asked how to reset this timer; as far as I know the only way to reset it is by flashing the phone.
  • *#7780# (*#rst0*) - This will soft reset your phone. It is different from *#7370# because all data, like contacts, calendar and notes, are not removed. It will only reset the phone settings, such as profiles, themes and shortcuts. The default lock code is 12345.

There is another key combination which is used to hard reset the phone (similar to #*7370). It is useful in some cases, for example when the phone cannot reboot. The trick is by switching off the phone then press and hold Call key (Green key) + * key + 3 key + power button for a couple of seconds

---------- Post added at 03:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:10 PM ----------

Another Tip for Password-protected Memory Card

How to solve the problem? If, for some reasons, you activate remote lock option on your phone, it will change your memory card’s password too. Just for your information, remote lock option allows you to lock your phone by sending SMS to it. It is a nice feature if you accidentally left your phone somewhere and you don’t want other people using it. You can activate this feature from Tools | Settings | Security | Phone and SIM | Allow remote lock menu. The password of your memory card will be your remote lock message.

So, if you still remember your remote lock message, then try to unlock your memory card’s password using that message.

Solution for backing up n restoring Messages

A breakthrough for Symbian S60 3rd Edition (OS 9.1)
Solution for backing up and restoring Messages
I am very glad to inform you all, the MOST-WANTED solution for backing and restoring your messages from your memory card. By default in symbian S60 edition phones, when we store messages on memory card, it gets stored in system/mail folder.
The same thing happens on Symbian 3rd edition phones too, but only difference is that the mail folder is buried deep inside the private folder..
What you need to access it..
1) Connect your handset to pc in the “Data transfer” (Mass storage) mode
2) Go to the Private folder on your memory card
3) Open the folders in sequential manner
4) Look for 1000484b (PARENT) folder or like that under which you will find Mail (Child) or mail2 folder, you are looking for.
5) Copy that (PARENT) folder to your PC
6) After you format you memory card using handset, copy back the same folder PARENT from pc again under Private folder on memory card using mass storage mode.
7) Voilla!!! You have got all your messages as it is.
-- OR --
Follow 1st step as it is, then go to search option on your pc, include system, hidden files and folders in search options and search for “mail” folder.. and follow steps 5 to 7 as it is.

Post any of your queries..

How to reinstall ur losing/deleted theme

a lot of people asked how to re-install themes in S60 OS9.1 3rd edition, because they disappeared from apps manager and are not in the memory, but can't be re-installed. Here is a brief tutorial, hope it'll be helpful.

Just a thing: it's a bug of the OS, not of the themes!

that happens because phone has a log file stored somewhere in c:/private (or in another protected folder). if you want to reinstall a theme you need to use unsis and extract the folder to put into private/10207114/import/

Tested by me, every time & still work!
so, let start:

A ) Download Unsis for 3rd Edition
B ) Take the usb cable for connecting phone to pc

1. Install and open unsis

2. choose "Open SIS" on bottom left (Capture1)

3. choose the theme you want to reinstall (Capture2)

4. After all .mbm, .mif, .skn & .ini appear, you may ** on "Extract" (Capture3)

5. You may close the program.

6. go into installation folder (usually C:/Unsis) & there should be a folder called "Temp"....go further & you may find C:\uNsIs\temp\private\10207114\import (my directory is default directory, because I installed unsis in C: ) (Capture4)

7. go inside the folders and search for the theme that you already extracted earlier (in this case is folder '1e51884d4c164d43'), there'll be 4 files: (Capture5)
a ) NameOfTheFolder.ini
b ) NameOfTheTheme.mbm
c ) NameOfTheTheme.mif
d ) NameOfTheTheme.skn

8. Done? now, don't close this folder and connect your phone to pc using the usb cable/BT

9. choose "mass storage". Note: you can also insert your memory card into a card reader.

10. find the folder called "private" . If you don't see it, you need to enable 'show hidden folders' in tools/folder options/view

11. after you find it, go to: private\10207114\import

12. Final step, copy (From C:\uNsIs\temp\private\10207114\import\) & paste folder '1e51884d4c164d43' to private\10207114\import (this directory is from your memory card, so the drive maybe different).

here we are, now your theme is again in the memory, just restart the phone and check if theme is ok, if there is not in the theme menu, something get wrong, and you need to repeat the recovery process again.

Note : to get your phone firmware, press *#0000#

What you need :
-PC
-PC card reader

Steps:
1. Using Y-Browser or F-Explorer, go to directory “z:” (of your phone memory). If you do not have these program, go search the forum
2. Under the “z:” folder, go to folder named “resource”
3. go to folder named ”fonts”
4. you will see list of fonts file used by your phone. Note down name of each file. Most likely you will see;

S60SC.ccc

SWABIU.ttf
SWABRU.ttf
SWARIU.ttf
SWARRU.ttf

5. Take out your phone memory card and put it into your PC card reader
6. In your PC, go to folder C:/Windows/Fonts
7. Copy the “verdana.ttf” font file (or any other font file you prefer)
8. Duplicate font file you copied above (in this case you have to duplicate 7 times) and rename them exactly as mentioned under step 4
9. Access your memory card and find folder named “resource”. If there is no such folder, create one.
10. Under the “resource” folder, create a folder named “fonts”
11. Copy all files you created under step 8, and paste under the “fonts” folder you just created under step 10
12. Put back your memory card into the phone and turn on the phone

Your phone should now have new fonts

If you want to revert back to original font, just delete all files you created under step 11 and remove the “fonts” folder (in your memory card “resource” folder)

Good luck

How to delete Dead Icon for Java apps/games

1st eidos prism won't dissapear also won't work. The other game runs normally.. To remove the dead java icon installed on external memory, access yr memcard via USB or Card Reader. Make sure all folder n files not hidden. If you use USB, select mass storage mode or data transfer. Then go to private\1000a3f\import\apps\NonNative\Resource\

There you'll find 3 files in ..._reg,..._loc,.....MBM. Delete those files. So dead icon will disappear anymore

P.S: I use ...(dots) to call those file because I don't know the names exactly. I don't have that game on my phone. The trick can be used to remove dead java icons

Try the step

How to uninstall games which are not working

Try this..........big up Gizmoratty at N95users

Now we all know the story of reformatting your phone or updating the firmware, just to find that your previously installed applications from the memory card are appearing in your apps menu - You go to open them, but nothing happens.. So maybe deleting them will work? Well it would be nice if it did..!

Up until now I was under the impression that reformatting the memory card was the only way out, but this was often a very big inconvenience and so it was never a pleasurable way around it, but it worked. There again you could always move the icon to a remote location in a sub-folder hidden away in your menu somewhere - What you can't see can't hurt?

I was roumaging through my memory card the other day and realised that symbian native applications actually included an uninstallation list - Meaning that you could view where all the installed files are dumped (This is used by the device in reverse to remove all the files)

Mr G in his troubles, actually gave me the idea today to use this to our advantage - So I got onto the experimenting

Now I'm no C++ expert, and I hardly had any idea as to which of these listed files would actually be the shortcut that we found ourselves stuck with in our phones - So by trial and error, I tracked down each file listed and removed it from the memory card, checking each time to see what effects were made (And replacing the file if nothing was found)

Eventually I came accross a THE directory - The folder in which seemed to contain ALL installed application shortcuts! SCORE

Anyway, I'll finish off my babbling and get to the point - Removing these files is easier than we ever could have thought!

--Removing 'Stuck' Applications--

--Simple Version--

Note: In these examples, I am going to refer to the Memory Card as 'E:\' - This may be different for everyone else

1. Now the first thing you need to do is connect your phone via USB in Data Transfer/Mass Storage mode (Or get the old card reader out) - What you need to be able to do is view the hidden AND system files - So you can not do this internally

2. Make you way accross to this folder from your computer:
E:\Private\10003a3f\import\apps\

THIS is the folder that contains all shortcuts for applications installed on your memory card (You should see a/some *.rsc file/s and maybe another folder or two)

Note:
*.rsc files refer to installed Symbian applications (*.sis/*.sisx)
The folders refer to installed Java files (*.jar)

You will most likely want to delete ALL of these files, but I shall explain the proccess in detail incase you want to remove individual shortcuts

3. (For Symbian installations) Delete the *.rsc that refers to the application you are trying to remove (The file is easy to determine as it will be named in relation to the original application)

4a. (For Java installations) This is a little more complicated - You will need to remove the folders one by one (Making a backup each time) to figure out which folder refers to the Java application in question (This is because the folder, nor its contents refer to the original application directly)

4b. Now head to: E:\Private\102033E6\MIDlets\
Here you will find the root folders for Java applications - You need to open each folder to find and delete the *.jar file and the 'uids' file that accompanies it

And that's it! All shortcuts should be removed from your applicaions menu or anywhere else that the 'stuck' shortcuts were placed

--Removing 'Stuck' Applications--

--Advanced Version (Optional)--

I mentioned earlier about the uninstallation files I found - These are located here:
E:\sys\uninstall\

You may have numerous folders included in this diectory, but simply searching through them will aid you in finding the desired *.log file

The *.log file can be viewed in Notepad or any simple text editor - It will include the directories of ALL installed files on the memory card for each application

The trick is to follow the links and delete each and every file to maximise recovery of data storage

I describe this as the more advanced option as you will need to KNOW what you are deleting or you may cause damage to other resources in the card

Note: I have ONLY tested this on my v20.0.015 device so please inform me if this is not compatible with other firmware versions

And thus concludes my little tutorial - I have tested this on numerous applications now with full success but I would love to hear any feedback you guys have! Also, any bugs reported will be greatly appreciated, but please MAKE SURE to follow this exactly as stated before coming back with problems

Hack the N95’s News reader template

Hack the N95’s News reader template!(IT HELPS ONLY IF YOU ARE A REGULAR FEEDS READER ON YOUR N95 WEB FEEDS)

As you may have already know, Nokia N95 runs S60 platform 3rd edition, Feature Pack 1 and it means that it comes with new improved Safari browser and improved RSS reader. Feed reader now supports the Atom format (in addition to RSS) and the browser renders feeds in html format.

Previously, feeds could only be viewed as short text only summaries while the new version is capable to process and show, images, full text and links in html format which is incomparable better solution, but... .. .

Unfortunately, the main layout/template isn’t as good as it should be and therefore whole concept doesn’t looks very well and we getting lot of complains related to the news reader.

Text size is simply too large and it makes feed really hard to use and not eye friendly. Even worse, feed reader isn’t affected by the font settings in the browser itself and there is no way to change the font size just like that.

You would need the following:
Ready made freaking RSS templates
yBrowser or any other 3rd party file manger like Fexplorer, Active file, X-plorer

1.)
Restart phone and run yBrowser(ANY FILE MANAGER)
2.)
Go to root of C:\ drive

3.)
Highlight
feeds_view_template.html
4.)
Delete it!
5.)
Now download the template given below and extract the content from the rar file somwhere on your PC.
6.)
Upload the feeds_view_template file to your phone, via the cable in mass storage mode or simply send it via BT.
7.)
Once uploaded run the yBrowser again, find the file and choose:
Options / Edit / Copy
8.)
Go to root of C:\ drive and choose:
Option/edit/paste

That’s it, run Safari and enjoy in new eye friendly layout, hope you like it
Attached Files
File Type: rar feeds_view_template.rar‎ (816 Bytes, 2 views)

How to install fonts on N95 8GB

I had problems when installing .ttf fonts on my N95 8GB but now i have finally found the solution.

1) Install FontRouter in your memory card sd, or mass storage in N95 8Gb

2) using the x-plore app, make a folder in PHONE (C:/) named fonts

3) move the fontrouter.ini and paste in c:\data\fonts

4) edit the fontrouter.ini file with x-plore like this

5) search at:
;Extra font files to be loaded
ExtraFontFile=\Data\Fonts\*.*

and change to
;Extra font files to be loaded
ExtraFontFile=C:\Data\Fonts\*.*
exit and save the file

6) Copy your *.ttf font to c:\data\fonts

7) restart the phone, and now it should be free to use in (Multimidia Reader)
this option can access the memory card, then its free to be used by computer!!!

if you afterwards want to change your font
edit the fontrouter.ini file again and change
Enable=1 to 0
restart and change the fonts, then Enable again to 1 and restart new fonts are displayd now.

Download EVERY File Format with the S60 Browser

All the credit for this hard work goes to bery95 and Biggzy

The latest version of the famous application “CorePlayer” uses a configuration file to mark the file formats it supports. This configuration file can be edited so that you can download EVERY file format.

Download every File Format with the S60 Browser:

1. Get the necessary applications: a file explorer like “X-plore” and the “CorePlayer v1.2.0″. “X-plore” is freeware, the “CorePlayer” however not.

2. Open the “CorePlayer” and select “Options” -> “Tools” -> “Preferences…”.

3. Choose “Select Page” -> “File Associations”.

4. Set a hook at the point “Audio Interchange File Format (AIF)”. Then confirm by choosing “OK” and close the “CorePlayer”.

5. Launch the “X-plore”.

6. Select “Menu” -> “Tools” -> “Configuration”. Set a hook at “Show Hidden files”.

7. Select the path “C:\Data\” and look for the hidden file “coreplayer.ext”. With the file marked, choose “Menu” -> “File” -> “Edit”.

8. Now you should be able to edit the file. Change the part marked in the screenshot “aiff” to the file extension you want to download. In this example, I want to download “*.rar” files; so I am editing the file to “rar”.

9. After editing the file, select “Menu” -> “Save”. The edited part must always be adapted to the file format you want to download.

10. I uploaded the public version of “rotateMe v2.0″ to Rapidshare.com packed into a RAR archive to show you how to download the normally unsupported “.*rar” file format.

11. And the download works! However, you must quickly choose “Hide” seeing the “Download details” window. Otherwise your phone will try to open the file with the “CorePlayer”, because we edited the file to do so.

After the download is finished, select “Later”.

12. Choose “Options” -> “Downloads” to show the downloaded file.

13. Select “Options” -> “Save” and choose the path where you want to save the file. In my case, I can now open the RAR archive with “X-plore”.

This solution works great, with every file format. Only change the file extension in Step 8 and you will be able to download every file you desire.

Only very little files will cause problems, because you cannot select “Hide” fast enough and your phone will try to open it with the “CorePlayer”. Then you should use a file explorer and enter the location “C:\system\dmgr” which is used as temporary saving place for downloaded files.

However, the “Hide” solution should work in most of the cases as this happens only with very little files.

Show Themes Icons in N95 & N95 8GB

The new firmware on N95 v20 & v21 & also N95 8GB has "deleted" the theme icon in the menu and by using this trick, youll be able to see the themes icon.

first go to;
menu-> tools folder-> utilities folder-> device manager.
you will see your firmware version and device updated. press D-Pad right button and you'll see no server profiles defined. Press Options and select New server profile, and name the server name, server id, host adress and user name Themes. just type anything down as for the password and leave everything as it is. exit (if it says profile not saved because you didin't do some configurations, try changing connection type to bluetooth) and press Options and start configurations without connection. then go to menu-> appications and you'll see the themes icon!

How To Remove Unwanted Words From Your Predicative Dictionary

Using FExplorer or similar file manager app, you can remove the .dat file in your c:\predic\ directory
Alternatively you can copy it to PC and edit it and place back (its just a txt file)

This will remove annoying entries you may have accidentally mashed in like 'yot' instead of you.
