Hi! My friend has a problem with his nokia N70. He bought it a year ago in italy (TIM). The phone isnt locked to any network, but it has their firmware. Not long ago he started to experience problems with the network. Sometimes he has no signal, so is unreachable even though the phone shows full signal strenght. If you try to call him 3 or 4 times eventually the call goes through. When he tries to call sometimes he gets "connection error". So he tried updated his firmware with the nokia update service but the problem still persists. I thought maybe if he changed the firmware to the nokia original firmware maybe it could fix the problem. So my questions are.. how do i change the firmware? which program do i need? is it possible to do with the usb cable provided with the phone? I am not familiar with nokia phones, just sony ericsson  |

Hi you cant update your phone with previous firmware! but pls test your phone with other sim carts and operators i think this is a software problem!  No use striving against faith What must be , must be No Flying from fate |

buy a big memory card :D or if it's ram, use any applications wich increases your ram, search for it @ s60/applications section  iPhone & iPod Touch Apps & Games Always Up2Date ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] |

Hello every one, ive just purchased a nokia n78 , its pretty cool, but i have some little issues with the phone. ive updated the phone from firmware v10 to v12 last night, but nothing changed 1- when phone goes to power saving mode there is no clock like other s60 v3 phones , screen turns to complete black with out anything on it 2- some times when i press the green key it acts like left softkey, its not hardware because after a keypad luck/unlock problem goes away and it acts normal as it must be. ive noticed other n78 users experienced this problem, most of them actually, what should i do? Thanks in advance. |
