Overview:
Nokia Friend View is a location and micro-blogging service that helps you stay in touch with your close friends. It let’s you share where you are and how you feel from home, work, or on the go. With Friend View it is easy to meet up at only a moment’s notice. It is a social location service that helps you to keep up with your friends and family, meet them more easily, and randomly share with them what you do and feel.
Let your friends know where you are and what you're up to, and find out what's up any time. Furthermore Friend View uses Integrated GPS, Bluetooth GPS and Network Based positioning when available.



When you use Friend View on your phone, it keeps a data connection open all the time, so we recommend that you only use it if you have a 'flat rate' data plan.

Note: Nokia Friend View is an experimental research project by Nokia Research Center.

Compatibility:
Tested with Nokia 5320 XpressMusic, 6110 Navigator, 6210 Navigator, N95, N95 8GB, N82, N96, E71, E90, N80 and E61. Should work on all Nokia devices based on S60 3rd Edition.
The browser interface has been tested with Firefox and Safari. We are working to add support for Internet Explorer 7.
